Ward tonight... and our friend Bobby Lu

What can we expect from Ward and TB tonight? Will they be angry and get out big or they will be depress with their lost yesterday?

I have 2 games left for my goalies and I planned to play Luongo for these two, but well, he and the Nucks are having hard time... I really thought he was back after their win against CGY, but their lost yesterday is worrying me.

So here are my options:

1 - Play Luongo in both;
2 - Play Ward tonight vs TB and Luongo vs EDM tomorrow;
3 - Play Ward tonight vs TB and Luongo vs CGY on the 5th;

Also, I would need an additional goalie to do the \"max games\" cheat either for the 3rd (if I choose option 2) or the 5th (if I choose option 1 or 3). I have Boucher in mind if it\'s for the 3rd, but have no idea for the 5th.

Any thoughts?

If MTL clinches the conference before Saturday... which won\'t happen cuz the tiebreaker goes to the Pens with more wins I would see if Halak is available...

ANH isn\'t going to be moving anywhere in the standings, is Hiller avaiable still??

FLA being out playing back to back... Anderson might get the game on Sat. night, but it would be against WSH.

Potentially I like Hiller the best going into LA... but than again, half the Ducks lineup may be resting up they\'re 5 pts. up on DAL so they\'ll stay in 4th no matter what, and obviously can\'t catch the Sharks.

Luongo has a great record against both teams with a great SV% and GAA.

With the way the nucks are playing I can see the Oilers game going to OT in a low scoring affair and the nucks winning against Calgary.

Try to ignore the game last night as the Avs always have the nucks number. Van has played great against Cal and Edm all season and the low scoring games should continue.

Play Luongo for both but if you do end up picking only one game for Luongo go for the game against the flames.

Thanks for these suggestion Marty! This is assuming I would pick I would choose option 1 or 3. What if I choose option 2?

You have to play Luongo in both of his last two games. He\'s your stud, that\'s why he\'s on your team, a captain has to go down with his ship, or in this case, your best goalie. Both games are at home for Luongo where he has had much better numbers.

I\'m just going to see who else is playing tomorrow to look at your option #2...

You\'re probably right on the fact that I should forget last night game... However, I must say that it really dissapointed me.

I guess that when you have a suppose stud like him, you must play him...

For option 2. Boucher might play if DET gets points tonight vs. CHI. If not Nabby will start as SJ still has a shot at the President\'s Trophy. The only other goalie that might be worthwhile... and this would be a dorkhorse... would be W.Dubielewicz vs. NYR

His last 12 starts he hasn\'t given up more than 3 goals. He beat the Rangers in a shootout on Mar. 4th in MSG 4-3, but than lost on the Island 4-1 (ENG) two days later. His record at home of 4-5-1 isn\'t hot but peripherals are nice 2.16/.928. He also faces over 31 shots/game in his starts...

All that being said though... the Nucks are still alive and you gotta go with Luongo the last two games of the year, and perhaps play a guy like Hiller if he\'s available in your league.

No one is more disappointed than nucks fans. Last nights game was close to being the last nail in the coffin. But like leaf fans we must remain optimistic.
Play your stud. Brodeur is mine and has not been great of late but I still play him cause like Maple said you win and sink with your star players.

Thanks again guys! I\'ll play Luongo and pray for the Nucks. Even if I\'m not a big fan of the Nucks, I always want CDN teams to be in the playoff over US teams.

As for a goalie for the 5th, Hiller is still available. I don\'t know if he\'ll play though, but it won\'t hurt to grab him now just in case...

Halak is another good option as well...
