Better handcuff, Vokoun or Elliott? Or neither, and grab a skater?
I own Fleury and Halak. Both Elliott and Vokoun have been dropped recently. Vokoun has the better numbers of the two, but I feel like Elliott is more likely to improve his game given the long layoff for players and St. Louis getting their game on track.
I picked up Elliott for now, but I'm wondering if I should go with Vokoun instead, or drop Elliott for a player, knowing that both are on the board and if one of my guys gets hurt & I'm quick I could grab one of them (or Jake Allen, if it's Halak that gets injured).
Some possible players I could get instead:
- T. Fleischmann (4g 6a)
- J. McGinn (3g 8a)
- B. Pouliot (5g 8a, +7)
- C. Neil (3g 1a, 64pim)
- T. Brower (7g 4a)
- M. Ryder (5g 5a)
- P. Berglund (9g 2a)
- B. Boyes (4g 9a)
- A. Hemsky (7g 3a)
- P. Martin (2g 10a)
- J. Pitkanen (1g 5a, +9)
- J. Corvo (2g 4a)
If you want a goalie= Vokoun
If you want a forward= Puliot
If you want a Defender= Paul Martin...take a chance on him...no relation to the Former Canadian prime Minister
