My crazy hunch is that they're using this as the perfect chance to see what they have in Bishop and Lehner. Maybe even drive up their trade value...

God I hope you're right. I've been holding out on spending my last waiver on lehner until I have a better idea of whether he's sticking this year or not. Hope they ship bishop.

i could still see Bishop going at the deadline. He isan RFA now which increases his trade value.

    Lehner will never be traded.

I have to agree, I can't possibly see them not moving Bishop at the deadline. It would be silly not to as far as Im concerned.

So, given the fact I have the following...
    Rinne
    Anderson
    Bryz
    Bernier
    Vokoun

I can keep 2 or 3 tenders. Is there any value in snapping up Lehner now? Can't see him becoming a keeper until maybe 2014 if he has a chance to take over in Ottawa. Is Anderson the man for the next couple years...and could Anderson be worthy of my #2 G in place of Bryz.
(Ev...i don't think I can get an unbiased opinion from you here...but giver a go.)

I have 1 waiver move left. I don't think I need any improvement on my forwards...and my D is Google enough u til next year when Karlsson returns.

Really...a Goalie maybe my best value for a waiver...unless a current marginal keepers worth changes with a trade...(Perry fallout, or J.J. To Pit).

Play the waiting game till.closer to the deadline? Or act now?

not really, they can easily move him at the draft too.

there is no reason to assume Bishop goes at deadline unless a HUGE offer comes.

Ottawa won't be buyers... the team won't make a deep playoff run if they can stay in the top 8. It would be pretty short sighted to try to move him for no reason...

As someone else mentioned, he can get moved at the draft.

So wise to hold off lehner for now rather than burn my last waiver. Jump if bishop gets moved? Can't see me keeping him over Rinne, Anderson, Bryz or even Bernier for that matter...

I'd hold off. Even if Bishop gets moved at the deadline I don't think it helps Lehner very much. The only way it makes sense to me to go with Lehner is if Anderson gets injured again, or if Anderson remains out due to injury.

    Keeper Value:
    1. Rinne
    2. Bryzgalov
    3. Anderson

I don't see how trading Bishop at the deadline means they are buyers.
