I like him in Washington. I just don't see CO as an option.

I think he's coaching a tall Dewars/rx and a montecristo, down at the Buffalo Country Club right about now.

Can't see him coming to Winnipeg; too much loyalty in the organization, and they're still building.

My vote is for Minnesota. Tempted to say Colorado or NYI, but I don't think he'd be great for those teams' young players. The Wild is a team he could work with, I think.

CBJ, WSH, and MIN make the most sense to me but I don't see any of them happening.

WSH has gone through a billion coaching changes lately, can't see them making another one so quickly.
Yeo is terrible in MIN but I believe management said they wouldn't judge based on a shortened season.
Davidson wants Jarmo to get familiar with the team before making any changes.

It's easy to bet on the negative

"I don't think Crosby will get 70 points this season"

There, now I'm a guru! LOL

Come on man, have a little fun!!

Keep this in mind everyone - a Lindy Ruff comes along once every decade. So coaches who would otherwise be 100% stable are on thin ice. Think of it like this: Your team will never ever NEVER trade Player X. Oh wait, Ovechkin is available? Okay, we'll trade him.

Would it be fair to say Ruff is a lot like Hitchcock, w/regard for intolerance for rookie miscues?

If so I would think he's best suited on a vet heavy, defense able team. That worked in Wash temporarily last year. I like that pick, but I am with those that believe Wash won't make another move.

CO...maybe. But I'm not feeling it.

Granlund and Brodin owners don't want him near Minn.

Rangers already have Ruff, in the form of Torts. No sense.

I like Howson going after him...CBJ gets my vote.

I think Minnesota is the best fit. They are more of a veteran team that I believe suits him to a T.
Colorado might be a good fit as well. They have a pretty good mixture of youth and experience.
I don't think coaching is the problem in Washington and hasn't been since before Bruce Boudreau came in. The team needs to be blown up.

Torterella still has some time left to turn things around. Not much, but some.

Please hockey gods let him end up in Colorado. Don't know a ton about Ruff, but his pedigree is great. Add in that a Lindy Ruff hiring would mean a Joe Sacco firing, and I'm as happy as a clam

I think he ends up with NYI....that teams needs a Ruff at the helm.

COL would be my second guess
