2nd GA was crappy but he was superb otherwise. Problem is the team in front of him sucks and let's see if he's not injury prone...

Who is the better keeper him or Fasth? He's available on FA and I could get a pretty nice return for Fasth right now. My other goalies are Rask, Crawford and Backstrom so I can take the downgrade of Fasth to Markstrom. I think Markstrom is a great goalie from what I have seen and has a bright future but the team in front of him is scary at times.

He's got good agility and athleticism for a big man. I think the biggest variable here is mental, true for most goalies.

Down 3-1 today, but 25 saves after 2 periods.....the save he just made off Peverly's SH breakaway....keeps the Panthers in the gam ewhen they start on the PP.

    He looks good.

    What now?

After 2 good games but no wins, what can we expect from Markstrom for the rest of the season?

So disappointing...he's already better than Clem and Theo combined. Not to mention the potential...
Just give him more chances...he's clearly ready and they played him against two great teams.
Poor defense in front of him...what are the coaches expecting, two SOs? Jesus.

Maybe they're doing this in order not to hurt his confidence. Bring him back next year with a better team in front of him.

... wow, i traded Theodore+Zajac for perry in a 16 team 1 year league. The night before Markstrom got his first start.

    Negotiator skills...and good timing...?

Perhaps next i'll convince a jumper off the ledge and his first round pick.
