Tatar has been patient, but he's finally getting a chance to show for Detroit. I think he will work his way up to being a top 6 forward, on a an aging Red Wings team.

I see Frattin all the time and personally agree Tartar is the choice.
    Frattin can score no question.
My thg is though he plays(b4 injury) on the 3rd line with Kadri against
Agst other teams 3rd line(GENERALLY). Thus id love to see what both he & Tatar could do
In a top 6 role to see how they matchup against better players.

Tough call because we havent really seen enough of Tatar in the NHL to give an honest assessment. He has looked great in the AHL, but that doesnt always mean it will tranfer into success in the NHL.

I like what I have seen of Frattin, especially when you take into consideration what he has done with the limited icetime he has been given. I think the Leafs have found something with Frattin and Kadri. They have really good chemistry and this will turn into some really good years going forward.

I like Frattin, but mainly because I have seen what he can do in the NHL. Tatar may eventually change my mind but if I am choosing today, I am going with Frattin.

I voted for Frattin. He has been money this year. He will continue when he comes back from injury.

I must say, I'm quite surprised here. I see them as having similar upsides, but with Frattin having more opportunity and being three years ahead. I have a sneaky suspicion in a month we'll see everyone back on the Frattin train, once Tatar's hot start fades a little.

Frattin for me, if you remember his play last year he was snake bitten. He was hitting posts all the time with that great release of his and now he's putting the puck in the back of the net. There's too much uncertainty around Tatar, when in doubt I would take the pure goal scorer in Frattin.
