Default 2 trade offers for Perry

I was offered 2 trades for Perry last night, should I consider either of them?

    1. Perry for Hossa & Hedberg
    2. Perry for Getzlaf & Kunitz

I'm inclined to deny both but I to move Perry before his stock diminishes.
I even considering of making a move for Karlsson straigth up for Perry.

    Thoughts?

I rarely like deals where I give quality and get quantity. The second deal looks better to me, but I'd still hold on. Who would you drop? Ennis?

As for Karlsson: I'd be relucatnt. Of course he offers tons of points for a D, but he's not much of a multi-cat guy (unlike Perry...). I'm no doctor, but Karlsson dominates because of his superb skating - and I'm not too sure if he won't be slowed down long term by his severe injury or if this heals completely. If it's nagging him just a bit, his advantage over his opposition is probably gone. Just something to mull over...

    Good point, thanks.

I'm just praying that Perry returns to his old ways and starts lighting the lamp a bit more.

I really think you take the Hossa deal, I am surprised. I think Perry is a good player, but one outstanding season doesn't mean he consistently scores that way. Getzlaf I feel the same way. I think both these guys are underachievers and will continue to be so in Anaheim. Now if they move over the summer, thats a different story.

Karlsson for Perry isn't a good move IMO, sure Karlsson is great but move Perry for someone who is playing.

Hedberg is a good acquisition as a backup to Brodeur, you don't have amazing goaltending and Brodeur is old and it gives you a little insurance.

oh and Drop PonikiUSELESS, he is a 3rd line player at best these days.
