Friday Free Agent Watch
Hello fellow dobbers,
Woke up this morning feeling pretty good. Came in third last night for fantasy points after being at the bottom of the barrel about 10 nights in a row.
Looking for some weekly advice and suggestions regarding waiver wire and free agent pickups. Here's the notable ones in my league
Waivers:
Cory Conacher (C,LW) - dropped last night for Hagelin. I've got number 3 waiver spot in the league right now -- is it worth it for him or should I wait it out? Or even nab him at all?
Blake Wheeler (RW) - dropped two days ago for Shane Doan. Should I be interested in a swap from someone from my team?
Derek Roy (C) - Dropped for tlusty. Whats the deal with him this year?
Free Agents on my watch list:
Cammalleri (C,LW) - The most frustrating fantasy player ever? He's averaging 9.4 fp's over the last 14 days and has 9 points in 8 games.
Brayden Schenn (C,LW) - Skating a lot more it seems now and has 7 pts in last 7.
Michal Jordan (D) - Holy shit, look at his name. Anyone know anything about this Carolina D-man?

I would put in a claim for Wheeler. He's playing well and delivering consistent offense in Winnipeg.
None of those waiver claims entices me, except for Michal Jordan. Glad to see Harvey Specter got him an NHL deal. Is there no one that man can't close? (Suits-related humour).

Can you IR Lupul and drop Frattin? Another candidate would be Myers. He's not going to do much for you. If you need to dress 4 D, trade a F for a better D.

Sig was outdated, sorry. Already dropped Myers and replaced him with Faulk. Lupul is currently taking up my only IR spot but I picked up Frattin and then hours later found out hes out for a week. I think I'll wait for Wheeler to clear waivers and then drop Frattin for him if I can. If not, I dont mind waiting a week for Frattin to come back.

I might be alone in this, but I think Wheeler is worth using waiver priority on. I see him being a more consistent contributer while I feel Frattin's luck may soon run out.
