    Default Heatley ?!?

I have been doing quite well in my One-Year-League (the one in the sig.) so far, but I am wondering why I am keeping Heatley on my roster.

    Notable FAs include:
    Tarasenko
    Vorachek
    Ryder
    Kadri
    Hudler
    Hemsky
    Brouwer

So not really "must-haves", but considering what Heater has been doing for me recently (= nothing), I am contemplating dropping him.
What do you think, am I too inpatient?

I'd drop heater for most of those FA's.

    Voracek
    Hudler
    Ryder
    Hemsky
    Tarasenko
    Brouwer
    Kadri

Thats how I would rank them too.

I hold onto Heatley for now - he's playing like crap so far but he's back on the top line, so we'll see if someting can happen. (EDIT: Also in the game vs the Canucks their line was gelling pretty decently and had some good scoring chances)

That said if things don't work out I'd drop him for Voracek, and MAYBE Tarasenko if he can rebound. I don't see how one can think the others are a better choice over Heatley at this point in time.

I'd take Voracek & Tarasenko over Heatley.
I'd keep Heatley over the other guys.

I'd take Tarasenko, Voracek and possibly even Hemsky in a one year over Heater.

Seems like a lot of options are lateral moves, best to anticipate who will have the next hot streak.

I would drop Heatley now for

    1. Hudler - Ready to break out

Watch out for Heatley's ice time and line combinations over next few games... if he is still in the same situation then I would drop him 100%

I would consider swapping Heatley for

    Voracek
Kadri (can he keep up this pace?)
Tarasenko (ice time distribution is lowering his potential)

Thank you all for your input.
After last nights game I will hold on to him...at least just a little longer.

He has more talent and can hit better numbers than any of those players listed for this season. I think Tarasenko is slowing down and Voracek really hasn't preformed all that well yet this season.
