One year league, I'm taking Ribeiro. I am as big an Oilers fan as they come and Nuge is hitting a bit of a sophmore slump right now. Ribeiro is ripping it up in Washington and I dont see him slowing down.

Another endorsement for Ribeiro here. Keeper league, RNH no doubt. However, Ribeiro is the best player the Caps have right now. He may not have the talent that Backstrom and OV have, but he's showed up every night, given it his all every shift, and made everyone he skates with look better. He doesn't have the brand name you might like, but Ribeiro has always been a high level producer. The chemistry he's shown with OV is too much to walk away from.

this year, ribeiro. looks like he's meshing well with ovie, and if ovie takes off, that's done and done.

RNH also is a little too injury prone for my tastes.

Thought I would be the only one who would want Ribeiro over RNH, even in a one year league. RNH is obviously the bigger name and the "sexy" pick, but Ribeiro is getting it done on a poor Washington team, and I don't see that changing when the Caps turn it around, and it's not as if Ribeiro doesn't have a nice track record of putting up points to his credit.

Isn't RNH injured? He was DTD but the injury to his shoulder seems to be more serious than expected. I think he's still too small and is going to be missing more games than everyone thinks....

Another vote for Ribeiro for all the reasons mentioned. To add Ribeiro is now Ovy's full time center and is also running the majority of the pases on the powerplay. RNH has started slow and Edmonton has a lot of similar (or better) talent in: Eberle, Hall, Yakupov, Gagner, Hemsky, who are all producing more than RNH right now.
