Shore is center so he and Kovalev aren't fighting for the same roster spots. So I don't think that will have an effect on Shore.Originally Posted by Old_Smokie

Eakin is more of a sure thing to stay up all year (in a bottom-6 role), while Shore will have better opportunity to be a top-6 player but may get sent down too. But as I said, I'd grab Shore.
