Default Grabovski takes a bite out of Pacioretty

Just caught some highlights of the Leaf vs Habs game and Grabs allegedly pulls out a Tyson move and bites into Pacioretty's arm. The clip I saw was inconclusive but interesting.

    Anyone else see the game?

This might be the angle you saw:

Inconclusive, all you can see is MaxPac's hand over his mouth. Hopefully we get some better shots...

Meh, you grab someone from behind and cover their nose/mouth with your forearm/wrist, you are asking for trouble. Just a rule to live by, if you don't want anything to get bit, don't put it in someone's mouth! No conclusive evidence, except some CSI forensics, so Pacioretty can cry about that all he wants.

Agreed, was basically shoving his arm against Grabo's mouth. Can't compare that to the Burrows incident, much different scenario.

While I believe he did bite him Totally agree with u its a natural reaction. Though Grabo is far from a clean guy.

And as for Orrs run at Plek, while i disagree with it obviously because he shouldnt take cheap shots esp at a little guy and that late in a runaway game, Plek did slash him.
And come on Orr just wrestle Bourque down dont punch the guy.

But alas I understand Hab fans will be emotional after this loss so venting is acceptable.

I think Eric said it best in the Montreal thread:

Ill give give credit to the Habs though for atleast trying to stand up to them though. Not many teams are as tough as Toronto this year(to go along with being fast).

Not much is being said about their defensive game either. They are a young team(Defensive especially) so they'll be inconsistant, but there certainly making improvements every game.

Randy Caryle is such an upgrade to Ron Wilson.

MaxPac says "here grabo chew on this for a bit"..

Grabo says "ummmm ok, pass the salt"

If someone was trying to rip my face off from behind, I may be inclined to chomp down aswell.. But totally agree, Grabo is not a clean player by any means..

Great game for the Leafs... one of the best I've seen in years (literally).

With respect to Grabo/Orr, I think they were both within their right to react the way they did.

I hope some player stands up for Grabovski in the media, because someone should be making the point being made post: Pacioretty was ripping his face off from behind, he kinda had it coming.

Unfortunately all I saw on TSN narrative was the Habs players basically calling Grabovski a coward.

One thing is certain. If you're Orr, you 100% don't have to go after the smallest guy on the ice. Grow a pair son.

pacioretty had his hand / wrist over grabo's face for a long time .

not sayin biting is cool , but if that was the only way to get his hand off his face , well.....
