Holtby tonight?

With both Lu and Harding sitting tonight, after rumors had both starting, I'm considering bringing up Holtby from my farm for a spot start tonight at home vs FLA.

Bad idea?

Anyone have ANY confidence this Caps team can put together a good defensive effort at home agaisnt FLA?

Talk me off the ledge if needed....

If you're in need of good goalie stats I wouldn't, but it's Florida so it's hard to say what they'll be able to do against them, they're hardly the penguins.

I'm rolling with holtby in my H2H because luo was benched, But I'm behind in goalie stats this week so why not...it can only get worse but it Could be a nice surprise....

Washington has to start turning it around soon surely

I think your probability of success if about 65/45.

Holtby has not played well at all this season. I am wondering if the coaching staff is starting Holtby tonight so the skaters play harder. The skaters can't feel great about having Holtby at their back and will feel a sense of urgency in playing better D, and putting the puck in the net. Hopefully the end result will be a win from the Caps, and a turn around game for Holtby as a result of the team focusing on tightening up on defense.


Personally, if I had Holtby, I don't think I would start him until he gets a few good games under his belt.
