You need to pay attention to what they are saying and more importantly to what they are not saying. The Caps are saying they are not going to blow "anything" up, so you could interpret that as the are going to blow EVERYTHING up!

GMGM is so tight lipped about trades, who knows what is and isn't actually in the works right now. I think there is probably a lot of pressure on everyone in the organization tonight, and if the players don't pull it together tonight, changes will have to be made.

The players don't even have to play a solid three periods. Two well played periods would be a 100% improvement at this point and could probably earn them a win.

I think they got no choice but to blow it up, starting with the coach. The only survivors might just be Backstrom and Ovi.

I agree with blowing it up, but I don't think it is a Coaching problem. If anything part of the problem is from having too many coaches in the last year. The players have been in a slump since well before Boudreau was given the boot. The Caps problem is not coaching at all, and stems from some kind of bad mojo among the players. This should have been corrected well before now!

Does a blowout against Florida provide much hope.

Will be curious to see if they can turn it around. They looked good last night, but need a nice run of games. I think people are under-estimating Oates' ability to change the culture.

I fixed Holtby. All I had to do was bench him.

Also good to see the Ribeiro/Ovechkin line is doing well.

I know it's been said for a few years now that there is still a chance that the Caps can turn it around yadda yadda.....but if they do continue this play this year....I'd be pretty intrigued to see what they can with an elite pick in the draft plus the great high end additions they made last year.

    I know that's a long ways away.....but still
