Default Would you move Ward for any of these guys?

Do you like any of these guys in a, key word, dynasty over Ward? If so, who and why? Carolina's defense is just atrocious. If it was better I don't think I'd be making this a topic.

    Halak
    Luongo

I'd hang in there with Ward. Goalies are creatures of habit, and the lockout definitely threw a wrench in a lot of guys game. Carolina plays a sound system under Mueller, and I see it benefiting Ward.

Otherwise Lehtonen would be my choice. A real goalies goalie, or so I hear.

I'd prefer Luongo and Schneider both over Ward, as for the other two I think I would prefer to keep Ward.

Ward's value in fantasy hockey is tied to the SAVES category.
The Carolina is atrocious and not getting better any time soon.
So for standard leagues with W/GAA/SV%/SO, I'd rank Ward around the 15th-20th best goalies. In a Saves league, Ward is fringe-top 10.

I'd prefer Schneider/Luongo/Halak (in that order) ahead of Ward.

Lehtonen, IMO, is a clone to Ward.
He plays on a team with a terrible defense.
If a league has SAVES, Lehtonen is a fringe top 10 goalie.

Without saves, I peg Lehtonen around the 12th-15th goalies.

Solid reply right there. I'll even rep you for that.

id rather both schnider and luongo. only after a trade though.
ward flies under the radar but always has decent numbers by the end of the season. my league does count saves so it does make him more valuable. his gaa is the only thing not great imo. s% is decent and he does play alot so he gets the wins.

Honesty I am surprised that nobody has mentioned Halak. St Louis plays such a sound defensive system that he is going to dominate the GAA, SV % and Shutout categories. I would also take Schneider and Luongo over Ward in a dynasty league
