    Default Clowe/Clarkson/Boedker

I'm getting killed by injuries this week (team in signature) and need a replacement forward. Leading contenders are Clowe and Clarkson, and to a lesser extent Boedker. So do Clarkson or Boedker have any chance of keeping up this pace, or is Clowe the safer bet?

I'd take Clarkson too...some scoring with some grit and 1st line PP time.

Yup...Clarkson is your man. Clowe is good too and on a contract year which should motivate him to excel, but Clowe's PIM stats are inflated right now with 1 37PIM night.

I'm hoping for great things from Clowe, but Clarkson is the most consistant Scorer/Tough guy in the league IMO

Clarkson - mostly b/c he sees top PP time. He's in a great situation.

Alright then, I went with Clarkson. I was leaning that way anyway but it's good to have support

I suggest you include the type of league, categories/values, number of keepers etc in your signature as well to help in future threads. This could make a signficant difference in the advice you receive.

Agreed but it seems the OP already chose Clarkson. Not bad, considering the other choices but Clarkson is anything but consistent, just look at his yearly stats. It's a contract year for him so I expect him to do well but don't expect him to continue on his current ridiculous pace.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I know, but the fact that he's asking for advice without giving all the details it may not be as clear cut. What if PIM were negative? It's also a suggestion for other threads he may start.

Agreed. Actually, my post, other than the "Agreed" part was meant for the OP but know re-reading it, it doesn't appear that way. Sorry for the confusion.

No worries. I hope the OP takes it on board.
