Default Need help on this one bigtime

Even though I have won the last two years, I'm in trouble here thanks to Fleury and Harding's stellar play... In any event, I'm being offered Theodore for Giordano and Harding, or Reimer for Phaneuf. I really don't want move any of my skaters but ya have to give to get. Who do you see being a better team this year, Toronto or Florida, and which goalie do you think is a better fit for me? Or do you think I should stand pat? GAA and Sv. Pct are not looking good. I am currently in 8th place out of 11 teams. Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

Neither of those offers seem all that enticing to me, especially should Luongo actually get traded to either of those teams if the rumors are true, but the Theodore one IMO would be the better of the two. Harding has clearly had a poor start to the season (great for me since I'm going against him this week) but with the huge amount of travel the Wild will have to go through this year he should continue to get his chances. I would stand pat for now

Phaneuf is easily the single-best player in either deal and you're the one potentially giving him up. I'm also a strong NO.

Maybe yes, maybe no. Bylsma has said Fleury's performance hasn't changed his strategy regarding starting assignments, but he has had a plan and will continue to play it out...Fleury starts tomorrow despite Vokoun's SO the other night.

2 things...Fleury hasn't been great, but neither has the team in front of him. As PIT rounds into more competative form his #s will improve as well. Secondly, I'm just not impressed with either of the other offers on the table here...not enough to change my mind anyway.

Right now we don't know how serious [if at all] the Halak injury is. Perhaps you do need to address your G issues, but trading for FLA/TOR's G is simply trading one headache in for another IMHO.

I say no and to wait it out with Fleury and Harding or try to improve the goalie in return.

Could not possibly agree with these assesments anymore than I do.

I don't like either deal for you, but if you feel like you really could use a new goalie Theodore for Giordano and Harding is definitely a much better option than losing Phaneuf for Reimer, reason beingTheo is better than Reimer, and Phaneuf alone is better than the offer of Giordano and Harding.

If Halak's injury is serious the extra starts Theodore gets over Harding could be extremely useful.

Appreciate the replies. Would you do Phaneuf for Theodore if you were forced to do it?

Not a chance. Everything about Phaneuf's #s indicate a turnaroudn to fantasy relevance...and after Shattenkirk I think he's your 2nd best overall D. Trading your #2 D for Theodore is criminal. I would lose my pool before I did this.

The thought of both trades makes me literally sick. Thanks.
