    Default Ongoing Seguin Saga.....

Been negotiating for days on this one....

I give up Seguin and Edler

I get B. Richards and Wideman.

    Thoughts?

I would keep Seguin and Edler.
    Weekly H2H points only (Year 9 - 2015-16)
    12 teams limited keeper (keep 6 + 1 Rookie)
13 round draft - Unlimited Trades - No Waivers - No IR
4 Team Playoffs (last 2 reg. season weeks)
Rookies are 23 years old or younger in the draft year and never reached 60pts (forward), 40pts (defense), 25 wins (goalie)

    Start : C RW LW Utility D D G
    Points : A - G = 1 pt W = 2 pts SO = 1pt

    C - S.Stamkos, J.Thornton, K.Turris, D.Stepan
    LW - O.Palat, B.Saad, A.Burakovsky
    RW - B.Wheeler, T.Toffoli, C.Atkinson
    D - E.Karlsson, S.Gostisbehere, C.Fowler, A.Ekblad, A.Larsson
    G - C.Hellebuyck, D.Dubnyk, A.Niemi, K.Lehtonen

LW: Vanek (LW/RW), Lucic, Kane, Schwartz, Pearson
D: Keith, Krug, Goligoski, Hamilton, Trouba

    I'd keep him too.
    Seguin> B.Richards - - and younger too
Edler>Wideman and has better supporting cast

Not sure how age plays a role in this trade, but for me the trade breaks down as follows:

Seguin >/= Richards (Seguin will have better all-round stats, Richards likely more points on that big line

Edler>> Wideman- this pretty much breaks the deal for me.

none of you guys noticed its a one-year league

Richards will likely outpoint Seguin this year and Edler will outpoint Wideman...its pretty much a wash

In a one year league, this deal is pretty even. By rights, Seguin and Richards should put up similar stats across the board, so should Wideman and Edler except maybe in plus/minus.

Each side of this deal has one player underperforming in Seguin or Wideman. I prefer Seguin to snap out of his funk before Wideman does, so I go with the Seguin/Edler side of the deal.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

I am well aware that it's a one-year league. Richards is too up-and-down for my liking. I just don't trust him to be good rather than just decent. I also believe it's far too early to write off Seguin. Three points separate both.

I countered with Streit for Wideman (to which he countered with Weber for Wideman).

I am weak at C so that is why I am entertaining trading Seguin.

Yeah I don't understand this trade in a 1 yr pool...2 D and 2 C....how is this trade helping both teams? Seguin and Edler for me based mainly on Edler will out point Wideman.
Contract Fantrax 14 teams, 8 keepers. 4 max lifers +/-
    3C, 3LW, 3RW, 1F. 5D,2G....5Reserves.
    Goal heavy. G=3.5 A=2 Add 0.5pts for D.
    Goalies:W=3,SO=4,start=2,Save=.1
    Assist +4, OF loss +1 loss= -1 Goal against -1
    C:MACKINNON,Kadri,Rossi,Thompson
    LW: KANE,HUBERDEAU,Marchand,kotkaniemi,Colton,N.Robert son
    RW:KUCHEROV,RANTANEN,Kessel,Bjorkstrand
    FOX,BURNS,Jones,Girard,lundkist,Hanafin
    G:CAMPBELL,Swayman

I believe Seguin is eligible as a RW in this league.
