I would go with Ellis and Read.
    Weekly H2H points only (Year 9 - 2015-16)
    12 teams limited keeper (keep 6 + 1 Rookie)

4 Team Playoffs (last 2 reg. season weeks)
Rookies are 23 years old or younger in the draft year and never reached 60pts (forward), 40pts (defense), 25 wins (goalie)

    Start : C RW LW Utility D D G
    Points : A - G = 1 pt W = 2 pts SO = 1pt

    C - S.Stamkos, J.Thornton, K.Turris, D.Stepan
    LW - O.Palat, B.Saad, A.Burakovsky
    RW - B.Wheeler, T.Toffoli, C.Atkinson
    D - E.Karlsson, S.Gostisbehere, C.Fowler, A.Ekblad, A.Larsson
    G - C.Hellebuyck, D.Dubnyk, A.Niemi, K.Lehtonen

I would go with Ellis and Laich. Once Laich returns (should be soon) I believe he'll have a much higher upside than Read will offer over the entire season. Briere was just moved up to philly's top line so Read could easily regress back to mediocre production at best once again while the flyer's wait for their team to finally get healthy

I admit I might have a caps bias since I've been a diehard fan my entire life but I still feel that Oates will eventually place Laich, Ward, and Chimera on the same line while Ribeiro would be paired with Brower and Wolski. Not sure if Oates had much input over the Devils lines last season but their's tended to follow a similar mix of each of those types of playing styles. I believe Read will move back to a bottom 6 role once Hartnell returns if not sooner

Ellis and Read here. Based on what I vaguely remember from past years, Laich occasionally gets buried on the third line.

All of Read's goals came in 1 game though and now he isn't even playing on the 1st line since Briere has recently taken that spot alongside Giroux and Simmonds. I'm not sure what line he has been moved to but I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up playing the next game with Schenn and Knuble. Read will be more beneficial in the short term while I feel Laich will be the better bet over the course of the entire season in terms of potential scoring

Not sure what Oates was thinking pairing him with Crabb and Beagle. It'll only be a matter of time until Ovechkin is moved backed to his usual spot alongside Backstrom and Brouwer/Johansson I hope though. Once again I may have the caps bias but it's hard to argue that they don't have the potential required to be a strong 3 scoring line team when healthy
