Obviously hindsight is 20/20 but based on the yank today I'd say Theodore might be the better bet now...
Someone just dropped Harding, and the waiver period ends a little later this week.
As a third goaltender, I can afford to pick and choose starts. I feel like Harding's percentages are all but guaranteed to be better than Theodore's, despite getting fewer starts. And who knows, he may even surpass Backstrom as the season goes on.
Roster/format in sig.

Theodore is an average starter, and Harding is an above-average backup. Due to age, I'd say that neither of them are going to get much better, it's a tough call which comes down to how many starts you need.
If you need a few wins and a high SV% here and there, then go with Harding, otherwise it's Theodore.

Harding hasn't been good lately so I wonder how much he will be used in the short-term. Maybe stick with Theodore for now and check back when your next waiver deadline is approaching.
