haven't had much of chance to watch anymore then some mins here and there of caps games. that said i want to get your opinions on his fantasy value going forward. i have been offered him in a deal, and it could be worth it but right now i just dont see it being a fair offer, however if green starts to heat up i may jump on it.

i wont go into the offer too much as i would rather just the focus be on green's prognosis in the future, does he look like he is regaining his old form?
i think he had 14 shots, 3 pts in 5 games going into tonight. not a bad start for a guy who has had injuries really derail his career the last 2 years. we are talking about a guy who easily was projected to hit 60-70pts yearly.

could he match the value of pietrangelo, weber, chara, karlsson again ? or is he no longer the same dynamic force he once was? not that a step down is bad, its just im wondering if he can become elite again or just a good solid stud.

also for categories i guess you can use these

G, A, +/-, SOG, PPP, SHP, PIM, HITS, BLKS
    12 team h2h keep 5 + 1 goalie
    *2012-2013 & 2013-2014 Champ
    G A PIM +/- hits SOG PPP
    c-Tavares, Mackinnon Eichel
    rw-Seguin, Tarasenko
    d-Josi

I wouldn't say he matches the value of the guys you mentioned (especially not in your format), but I've watched him closely this season (since I drafted him in my cash pool) and I'm happy with his performance so far. Not thrilled or anything, but he's been decent. He ranks third in the league in ice time so the opportunities will be there, especially if the Caps improve.

I'd peg him as a 45-55 point guy... definitely not at 60-70 guy.

I only watched 1 Caps game this season and I was happy with his performance. Everytime he got an opportunity to shoot he shoots, so I think that is a good sign.

He got 5 shots last night, which is the most of all my fantasy players. If he can keep those SOG up, one would assume the goals and assists will rise as the season goes on.
