    Default Matt Carle for Okposo?

    Give up Carle for Okposo?

I own Okposo but I'd wait until Carle gets some ppp, and can trade for someone better.

I feel Carle's value can improve more than Okposos.

Well neither appear to be a keeper for you in the long run so this is strictly on a one-year basis.

I thought about this one long and hard and here is what I came up with.

You have depth at D (who is Backlund though lol, is he just in the wrong spot?). Your RW is hurting.

Carle will probably give you a combined +130 hits/blocks give or take given their track records. That equates to about +26 in fantasy points.

Carle, assuming you credit him for a 40 pace d-man will probably give you around 125 points (assume 5 goals, 35 assists as he has typically been assist-heavy). Okposo, assuming a 50-55 point guy will probably give you around 175 points (~25/25).

With Okposo holding the slight advantage in every other category given that he's a forward and a goalscorer I think you come out on top with a deal like this. As I mentioned since neither of these guys is gonna be a keeper for you anyway and neither will likely be good enough trade bait to upgrade your keepers...I'd go with Okposo. The move would also shave off about 3M in cap space if I'm not mistaken.

Ok, so as it stands I have my choice of either Brad Boyes or Okposo... Who sticks on that damn RW with Tavares and on the top PP for the rest of the year?

If it's me I'm sticking with Okposo.
