    Default Ryan Suter trade

    League in sig.

I was thinking of going after Suter. I was going to offer Edler and one of Grigs, Galchenyuk or Huberdeau for Suter and JVR.

Think it would be worth going after? Also, which of the 3 should I try to include?

Any and all advice is appreciated.

I would much rather have huberdeau and Edler than Suter and JVR

Stick with what you have. the offer you are posing should return way more than Suter.

What about E. Staal instead of JVR?

I just don't think that Edler is gonna stay this good all year, and I think Suter is gonna come into his own. He's doing everything right, just not putting up points yet.

edler doesnt have to stay that good all year

points per game wise he has topped suter over the last 3 seasons and over their careers

getting suter for edler isnt selling high on edler

If Suter does come into his own as you say, he will be lucky to put up Edler numbers....no reason to trade Edler for Suter.

Edler is an upgrade to Suter IMO, so if you want to use that difference in value to try to get a better forward, then I think you are on the right track....but don't trade Huberdeau, unless you are getting Eric Staal.

I would keep Huberdeau out of this deal if I was you...

I'll only comment on straight points. Edler will waaayyyy outpoint Suter this year.
