OEL/Conacher/Havlat for Semin/Wideman
I'd be receiving the Semin/Wideman side. Seems to me with slow starts from Semin and Wideman, and hot starts from the players I'd be sending this could be a nice buy low/sell high. Semin also has LW/RW eligibility, which gives me some flexibility with my lineup. I could also try for Yakupov, but would probably have to substitute him for Semin, or give up more than those three players to land him as well. I think Semin would probably be of more use this year, but Yakupov could be a keeper over Staal for next?

None of the involved players would be keepers, except maaaybe Yakupov if I modify the deal to include him. I'm mostly looking at production for this year.
Edit: What about OEL/Conacher/Havlat for Semin/Wideman/Yakupov? Or just Conacher/Havlat for Semin/Yakupov?

thats pretty much a wash to me? havlat and semin are both uber streaky and Yak for Conacher is pretty close as well...slight edge to Conacher at this moment.Conacher/Havlat for Semin/Yakupov?
if you could make that deal, then you may come out ahead if Semin can click with his CAR linemates (not sure who they are...), as Havlat is not what he once was IMO. yak and conacher will equal out...
So is this pretty unanimously not a good idea? My thinking was that Wideman and Semin have favourable schedules for my playoffs and have been producers in the past, and Yakupov (if I went for him) has keeper upside. Both Wideman and Semin are in a position to succeed too, I think.. they just haven't done it yet.

its a big gamble to think yak might crack your keepers
semin could get his act together but then again he might not
there have to be better deals for you if you are either playing for this year or playing for a better keeper
maybe conacher and staal get you a giroux depending on what his keepers look like if you are playing for the long game
if not making conacher available should get you something more steady than semin from a rebuilding team for this year
