Justin Faulk will not play Monday night due to an upper-body he sustained on Friday.
Coach Kirk Muller ruled him out of the contest despite the fact that he practiced with the team on Sunday and Monday morning. It doesn't sound like he'll be out for very long. Bob Sanguinetti, who was a healthy scratch last game, will suit up in Faulk's place.

I just checked the schedule and noticed CAR doesn't play until Friday [I can't imagine 3 days off happens many times in the schedule this year] so there's no reason for Faulk to push himself too quickly. Hopefully he's back by the weekend.Originally Posted by WaterAndSand

Just dropped Faulk for Leddy. I hate it that I have to make moves like this because teams won't release injury information, but what are you gonna do?

Does anyone have any updates on Faulk's status?
If you were me (league info. in my sig.), would you drop Faulk and pick up Brodin? I watched the Wild/Hawks game last night and he played a ton; with Suter too. He did, however, get skipped over for Tom Gilbert on PP1.
When I look at Brodin's career stats, he is not a point machine. Is this guy one of those great real players, but not so great fantasy ones?
Any insider information is much appreciated.

Justin Faulk continues to recover from his upper body injury. He rested on Tuesday, wore a no-contact jersey on Wednesday, and participated in a full practice Thursday. If all goes well with today's morning skate, he should be back in the lineup tonight and whatnot.
