    Default Goalie Rankings

    League in Sig.

I am trying to wrap my head around some rankings for these guys going forward. I have a few trades piling up in my inbox and all of them involve goaltending.

    Please Rank

    Tuukka Rask
    Carey Price
    Roberto Luongo
    Kari Lehtonen
    Semyon Varlamov
    Cam Ward
    Ilya Bryzgalov

I can keep 1 goalie and 6 forwards or 2 goalies and 5 forwards. Right now I am looking at keeping Price and 6 forwards, so these rankings would be for this year only.

    Potential deals would be

Neal + worst of my G for Rask and Lehtonen/Ward

Neal + Luongo for Heatley + Rask

Wow, you really want Rask! I'd say that the gap between Rask's proven value and the likely performance of the best of your goalies doesn't come close to replacing Neal. I wouldn't do either of the deals mentioned regardless of the goalie rankings.

This is a standard roto league I presume? I'm not an expert by any means but, I would probably say:

    Rask
    Luongo*
    Price
    Lehtonen
    Ward
    Bryz

    Varlamov

*Depending on where Lu ends up
10-team Limited Keeper League (Keep 10), Fantasy Points
    G(3), A(2.5), +/-(0.5), PIM(0.1), SHG(1), SHA(1), GWG(0.5), SOG(0.2), HIT(0.1), BLK(0.1); W(3), GA(-1), SV(0.2), SO(3), OTL(1)
    C: Draisaitl, Backstrom, MacKinnon
    LW: Pacioretty, Van Riemsdyk, Kovalchuk
    RW: P. Kane, Atkinson, Pavelski
D: Ekman-Larsson, Hamilton, Werenski, Gardiner, Trouba
    G: Dubnyk, Raanta
Bench: Galchenyuk, Stastny, E. Lindholm, Zibanejad, Coyle, Schmaltz, Dubois

Ya, I was thinking along the same lines but Bryz lays so many eggs and who knows what happens with Luongo this year. Has me itching for some solid goaltending.

Neal would be a keeper forward for sure if I don't move him.

Along with likely Getzlaf Staal Kane Eberle Seguin

If I moved Neal I'd be able to replace him with Zetterberg/Spezza/Duchene though which was my thinking. Or keep Rask and Price and the 5 mentioned above.

I don't think trading Neal is worth it. He is arguably the best fantasy LW in the game, consistently playing with the two best C's in the game.
