Yandle will be traded soon. Which is a shame imo. Well I have always stated that OEL will be the Man there, I fell they should make room for the both of them.

I hope so since it appears that Yandle has lost the #1 gig on that team.

.....ok, if he's going to be traded soon.....then where does he go? I know there have been rumours out there suggesting Boston, but with the rise of Hamilton, the Bruins don't appear to be pressed to aquire another puck mover. So where does he go?(if).....I'll start and say Philly...
    14 team points only league
9 forwards (3 of each position)
    4 defense
    2 goalies
    farm team option
Must submit top 4 pointing players back into draft at end of every season

Can only carry over 12 players each year

Philly is always in the mix. Though given their lack of depth at forward, I'd question whether they're currently in a position to make such a move.
Don't discount Edmonton here either. Could be a perfect storm. They're currently a stud two-way d away from taking the next step and they have tons of ammo. Contract could be an issue, but I'm sure it wouldn't be a deal breaker.
F: P. Kane, Oshie, N. Foligno, Thorton, Coyle, Marleau, Pavelski, Dubinsky
    Steen
    D: seabrooke, Subban,wizniewski,garrison, Carle
    G: Niemi, Fleury,

    G/A-1 pt PIM- .25pts
    Win-2pts Shutouts- 5pts(2+3)
    Keep 10. Top 13 count (4 d, 1 g, 6 Frwd and next highest-any position)

OEL is better defensively than Yandle. However, offensively I would take Yandle especially on the PP. Why the switch in PP units? Hard to say. I suspect a trade is in the works.

well, the universe returned to fairly normal last night.

Yandle seeing about 25mins, plus top PP time, and going 1-2-3.

OEL about 22mins, some PP time, adding an assist.

I guess if you're Phoenix, you're pretty content using either guy.

Actually it didnt return to normal. OEL and also Rundblad both had more PP time than Yandle.

    PP time last night:

    Yandle - 3:34
    Rundblad - 4:53
    OEL - 4:59

edit: Yandle had 3:34 not 4:34

God, you're right. Didn't bother checking the specific PP minutes - just the overall minutes after watching about a period, period and a half of the game.

Not gonna lie - still struggling to figure out which forward groups Phoenix views as its top PP one.

    And that's a line I never thought I'd write.

Its worst than what I originally wrote cause of a typo; Yandle actually had 3:34 on the PP not 4:34.

Is Yandle worth pursuing as a potential buy-low at this point? Curious about production this year and as a potential keeper (most likely only if he was traded).

At the end of the day you have to look at names. Half of fantasy people don't even know who the hell OEL is. Hmmm, sign to go get him? OEL will be just as good as Yandle (who is very underated too). There is no competition here, both will man the special teams for the next 10 years.

Yes, no doubt. Instantly becomes your top D by a mile.
