    I know its early on and i'm not in a panic to drop him but is there anyone in this list that you guys woudl consider picking up over R McDonagh?

    In a 1-year league, I would drop McD for all of the following, in order:

    Wiz
    Carlson
    Fowler
    Hamonic

    They are all likely to significantly outpoint McD and they also hit (less so Fowler).

    I agree with Ross, and would add Souray to that list. He will give you PIM's too. Folks are not high on him, but I see him getting a lot of PP TOI.

    I was trying to decide between Wiz and Souray really, not a fan of the +/- situation in Columbus, althoguh i think wiz will produce.

    Stephane Robidas.
    When HITS are in play, I really try to get them from my D slots so that I can roster forwards for my offense. Robidas is one of the best in this bunch and he's playing PP with Dallas. I own Robidas in multiple-leagues.

    I think Wiz is in a good spot on the Jackets, especially with J.Johnson on the PP. With Johnson walking the line setting up Wiz on the left circle, I see some nice production ahead.

    McDonagh, as much as I like him, doesn't quite fill up the stat sheet like some of those other guys can. He's just a solid, positional player who helps the Rangers a lot more than any fantasy squad (except those counting ATOI).
