    Default J Benn on waivers

Someone dropped Benn to waivers. Would you drop any of my players to pick him up?

    Elias?
    Clowe?
    Wisniewski?
    Goligoski?
    Stafford?

I would drop any of them for Benn. Pick one and do it fast.

    which would you rather drop?

I think right now I cannot afford to drop a defenseman just because I have only 6. My 7th d-man is Subban and who knows if he will play soon.

Dropping a Forward would make more sense now.

Debating between Elias, Clowe and maybe Stafford...?

    For me, Clowe.

I would have said Elias, but he had a great year last year and he has ample opportunity (pp time).

I think the Ennis line is gonna do good things this year.

Yeah I would've picked Elias initially but he gets lots of PP time and PK time as well.

Clowe gets some PP time, no PK time. Has the nice LW/RW eligibility. Stats wise a little less than Stafford

Stafford seems to have stronger stats but no PK time either and only RW eligibility..

I think I'm leaning towards Clowe right now.. seems about right?

If you have time it would be nice to try and package 2 of those guys for an upgrade. Clower/Elias or some combination for a better forward....

Just noticed you don't include PIM, so I'd want to drop Clowe.

I do have some time but not sure who I could get by trading Clowe and Stafford/Elias...

I think right now dropping Clowe for Benn seems like the best option.

If you don't think you can get anything, and without pims, dropping Clowe is not a bad idea at all.

I think I would drop Stafford here.

Both have produced similarly offensively over their careers.
Clowe 260 pts in 390 games
    Stafford 247 pts in 399

Stafford stepped up his hitting last year while Clowe took a step back and they finished with similar numbers. But given their history and style of play, I think Clowe will easily take the edge here.

Both players get some PP time but have too many ahead of them to crack the number 1 unit so I would expect similar numbers from them there.

All in all, the only reason I keep Clowe here is Hits. Stafford should be your drop but Clowe would be a close second. Either way, Benn is going to be a HUGE upgrade.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".
