    Default Best dman trade opition??

    Thinkng I need another dman, got to many forwards. What do you think is the better opition for me.

    B Schenn for Gardiner or RNH for Pietrangleo

    Maybe Schenn for a better defenseman than Gardiner.

    I'd be fine with Schenn for Gardiner, wouldn't do RNH for Pietrangelo

    I don't really like either trade. Definitely not the second. I'd want to see what Schenn can do when he gets some consistent time to build chemistry on Philly's second line (or maybe first, though that experiment appears to be over).

    Plus, I'm a bit leery of Gardiner given his concussion. I'd want to see him playing at the cerebral level he can post-concussion before making a move for him.

    Personally, I'd wait a month so that I could a) get a read on your own players, and b) find a young dman whose only knock is opportunity.
