Bryz sucks, so the simple answer to your question is yes.... Michael Leighton could very easily take over the Flyers starting job

the easiest way to make sure you dont have a goalie controversy is to let your backup play the team that is tied for first in goals per game this season
i mean seriously what coach puts the backup in the game against the toughest competition rather than the starter
meanwhile bryz got to play the team tied for the fewest goals per game this season last night
that should have been switched around
but if you want to keep from creating a goalie controversy you make your starter look good and your backup not so good
Yeah I didn't quite understand the decision to throw Leighton to the wolves in this one.
My buddy told me he think it's because Leighton is 4-0 against the Lightning in his career.
Well, that was a long time ago....
Though it was the second game of a B2B...Leighton got dealt some crappy cards here lol.
I might be in the minority but I think it'll click for Bryz this season. Maybe they're playing Leighton against the tough teams to keep the lid on any controversy, but as a Bryzgalov owner I have no isue with that.
