Dallas has the better offense without a doubt, but Wideman is the more proven performer. He's cracked 46+ on not one, but two different teams.
In my draft below, I had the exact same choice between these 2 and I took Wideman.
Not sure why the hate-on for Wideman. I managed to snag him very late in a 12-team draft and I expect him to be exactly as advertised. Heavy on PP points.
My other D are Byfuglien, Shattenkirk and Schultz, so I'm decent in that position anyway.
I prefer Wideman.
I would actually run with Wideman. He already has helped out the Calgary PP score and he will only get better once he gels with his team.
