Default CAR & WPG light schedules: Heads Up

For those that like to get the most out of NHL scheduling:

The Carolina Hurricanes only have 1 game in a 6-day stretch from:
    Sat Jan 26 - Fri Jan 31.

The Winnipeg Jets only have 1 game in a 5-day stretch from:
    Sat Feb 2 - Wed Feb 6.

As most teams are averaging 1 game every 2 nights... these are pretty light schedules.
Make use of your moves in daily leagues without GP restrictions.

    Good to know.

On a similar note, last year I found (or maybe made?) a list of how many games each team plays in the 3 weeks of yahoo playoffs. San Jose was the only team to play 4 games all 4 weeks, where some teams only played 8 games total. I stocked up with Boyle, Burns, Havlat, Clowe, Marleau, Pavelski, Niemi, and it played a huge role in me winning.

Does anybody know if this info can be found online somewhere?

So much for a condensed schedule...

that's weird...I would have thought you'd never see that in this shortened season

Posted this previously but here's the legwork already done:

Assuming a Monday to Sunday Schedule and a 3 week playoff The high and low teams are:

    Week 1
Monday April 8th- Sunday April 14th
    2 Games
    Florida, New Jersey, Winnipeg
    4 Games
Boston, Bufalo, Calgary, Carolina, Colorado, St. Louis, Tampa Bay

    Week 2
Monday April 15th- Sunday April 21st
    2 Games
    Detroit, Nashville
    12 teams play 3 games
    16 teams play 4 games

    Week 3
Monday April 22nd- Saturday April 27th
    2 Games
    Boston, Buffalo, Columbus, Tampa Bay
    4 Games
    Chicago, Detroit, Edmonton, Phoenix

Reviewing the above I don't see any team that offers a major advantage. No team has an extra game in 2 weeks and most who have 4 in week 1 correspond with 2 in week 3. Important to note is that this year the final week has a mix of games on every night so avoiding conflicts will be the key.

I found the complete week-by-week schedule here:
    http://www2.dailyfaceoff.com/nhl-games-per-week/

A tool I recently started using that I love is the "roster maximizer" at leftwinglock.com which is found here:
http://www.leftwinglock.com/roster-maximizer/ It allows you to input your known roster, roster size, and a timeframe and will then tell you which teams will give you the most number of daily starts.
12 team H-2-H 1 year league, daily roster changes, 3 goalie start minimum/week
    2xC, 2xRW, 2xLW, 4xD, 3xUtil, 2xG, 5 Bench
G, A, P, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, Hits, W, SV%, GAA, SVs
    C: C. Keller, C. Mittelstadt, B. Nelson, R. Strome,
    LW: K. Connor, B. Tkachuk, J. Gaudreau, J. Marchessault, E. Rodrigues, A. Lafreniere
    RW: K. Fiala, J. Bratt, T. Jeannot V. Arvidsson
    D: R. Josi, J. Trouba, E. Gustafsson,
    G: L. Thompson, F. Gustavsson, V. Vanecek

Those are helpful links. THANKS (sending you some rep for your work).

I didn't know that LWL had that roster maximizer.
That's pretty sharp. They have a pretty smooth little website over there that is gaining traction. I used to use it just for goalie-starts, but looks like they've got some neat tools.
