yeah that's sorta how I read it too...like they have a decent tender already that they need to move first to pull off the deal. I think its probably a team that feels poised to make a push too, so a team like MIN or PHI makes a lot of sense

Never. I'm pretty sure they are going to run with Lindback. He's young and Yzerman likes him. I'd be willing to bet they are nowhere near these talks.

Colorado seems to fit.

Luongo's contract really doesn't fit in with Colorado's pay structure and they've got very solid duo in Varly/Giguere. Really can't see Colorado even being a possible destination for Luongo.
