I think Faulk offers the best balance and also the most long-term upside should your keeper list change for whatever reason.
Hey guys, Im in a limited keeper h2h league. None of these guys would crack my keepers unless they have a season of a lifetime. Im looking to add a 5th dman to my roster. Who would you guys take? Its pretty much standard stats with counting g,a,hits,blocks,shp,shg,ppg,+/-,sog.
Here are the guys that are available. I have them ranked in how I want them
Seidenberg
Kulikov
Hamuis
Faulk
E Johnson
Ellis
Gonchar
Pitkanen
Hamonic
Out of that list who do you guys think would have the most value? Im leaning towards Kulikov of Seidenberg.

I'm almost thinking Hamonic. Kullikov doesn't hit and he's always injured plus so far his cap is 40pts in a full season prorated. Hamonic should get almost as much points and will hit and and get PIM. Justin Faulk will have the offensive upside that neither have. Seidenberg is probably the safer choice between the two of them.

hamonic is a beast in hits and blks and provides enough offense imo
Hamonic is not a bad choice, but Faulk offers the best potential reward on both sides of the puck. Pitkanen isn't bad either, but may have already peaked and his role in Carolina this year will likely be diminished offensively.

9. Ellis
Seidenberg and Hamonic are easily the best in that format. Seidenberg gets the slight edge for being on a better team.
Faulk is ok from a points perspective but his peripherals can't hang with the other two, and his +/- is a potential liability.
I haven't looked at his stats, but given how one dimensional he is, I would imagine Kulikov is shit in that format.

PIM is not part of his format, otherwise I would've given the slight edge to Hamonic instead.

i agree that is comes down to Hamonic and Seidenberg. to me you can't go wrong wih either. if PPP are a cat (sorry forgot if they were or not) perhaps Hamonic is your guy since he is slotted on 1PP vs. Seidenbrg seeing 2PP time (athough this may change).
