Default Comments on new team + waivers

    Hey guys -

My new team is in the signature, it's a Yahoo Rotisserie League, 12 teams.

And here's what's currently available on waivers (unlimited trades) :

    J. Faulk
    J. Huberdeau
    S. Doan
    T. Plekanec
    T. Kaberle
    J. Corvo
    D. Brunner
    D. Stepan

    Is Souray a solid 4th D ?

Grandlund and Salo were my last 2 picks, anyone has better ideas or are they good "benchers"?

Any comments, player suggestions etc would be appreciated

I think you are probably a middle of the pack team right now but could be a contender if you make some smart trades/ waiver wire moves.

I think I prefer Doan to Burrows and Stepan should be owned in 12 team leagues. I am not sure if I am in love with you defense. However Crosby is the key. If he can stay healthy and put up close to 70 pts then you are looking ok. I think you also have to keep your fingers crossed that Howard doesn't regress to much ( with Lidstrom gone) and Fleury doesn't lose starts to Vokoun or goaltending could also be an issue

Your forwards are excellent, defensemen are below-average, goalies are (surprisingly) below-average.

Normally, having the DET & PIT goalies would seem spectacular, but...
    1) Pittsburgh has already declared that their goalies would share a lot of starts.
    2) Detroit has a lot of back-to-back games and Howard will lose a lot of starts.

I think you'll be surprised to see your goaltending be sub-par (in the standings).
I'd really look to add a 3rd goalie (assuming you get daily starts).

Also, many leagues, in ROTO, have a maximum games played - and there is NO way you'll get full value with only two goalies, especially with a category like SA.

I think your goalie situation is really going to hurt you and I'd forecast you finish somewhere between 6th-8th... even with that incredible forward strength.
