Hiller + for Bryz
Hey guys, trying to shore up my goaltending(team in signature).
Trying to formulate an offer
Is Bryz enough of an upgrade over Hiller to be offering Schwartz too, or am I going to have to offer up Tarasenko instead
Just Wins and SO are the goalie cats.

You may have to offer Tarasenko to get it done though I wouldn't do that myself. Hiller and Schwartz for Bryz though, that seems reasonable. Schwartz seems a couple of years away from really producing points, especially on that team so I'd have no issues moving him and Bryz is a marginal to decent improvement on Hiller.

Hiller is better goalie than Bryz so I wouldn't even swap him straight up for Bryz. Hiller will get the wins for Anaheim.

Bryz scares me right now. He followed a horrible year with a bad lockout performance in the K. Philly also expressed interest in Bobbie Lou. Dont do this deal. Too risky.

Even with those categories I'd take Hiller over Bryz.

In a bad year Bryz had 33 wins and 6 shutouts. In a similarly (arguably) bad year Hiller had 29 wins and 4 shutouts. Shutouts are unpredictable so if you agree that pro-rated both should improve then it's a decent enough upgrade in my opinion based on team strength. Hiller + Schwartz seems reasonable to me.

That's a pretty good argument right there. I would do the Hiller/Schwartz trade but not Tarasenko.

Has anyone considered that Bryz is a prime candidate for a Philly buyout in the coming year? Could easily happen.
I'd never trade Hiller for Bryz, even with those cats. Keep in mind Hiller had the highest GP in the league last year. Add to that the fact that the Flyers D is DECIMATED, and they are going to allow a ton of goals the next few years, the Pittsburgh series last year is a sign of things to come in that regard.
Keep Hiller and that nice young prospect.

I wouldn't do it. Bryz is too risky right now. I feel Hiller is gonna have a solid year, as I think the Ducks will be better.
I see a buyout in Bryz' future. And, who knows, where he goes from there.
