    Default Ryan Strome

I have him in my keeper league and I'm just wondering, is he gonna make the Isles?
If so, is he gonna make an impact this season?
Any insider help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

I don't think anyone really knows at this point, but if I were you, I'd post on this thread and see if VV has an answer for you.

Strome not staying bit of a surprise. RT @StapeNewsday: #Isles have told Strome and Reinhart that they are going back to JR clubs.

Yep, Strome is going back to junior which is a little surprising. But honestly I like the move by the Isles, he's still not a finished product so letting him ripen up in junior can't be a bad move. I expect him to open the season with them in 2013-14 though.

I don't think it's all that surprising considering that it will be a compressed and abreviated season. It's pretty much the result I expected and why I didn't draft him.

I own Strome and this doesn't shake me. NYI has a bounty of young forwards up right now so no point in rushing him up for 3rd line minutes. Plus, I bet NYI is a bit cautious rushing their prospects now. Sooner or later, all people learn from their mistakes.

I'm happy he got sent down. Niagara probably won't make the playoffs so after dominating a bit more he'll join Bridgeport in the AHL for some seasoning there. Should be ready to go for a roster spot next season.

After rushing Niederreiter last year, hopefully they learned their lesson and will take their time with Strome.
