Just for alls information(If they havent heard) the Leafs have again inquired about Bernier.

Heard on radio today the Hawks made a run but backed off because Lombo wanted too much so.....we shall see.

Nonis is definitely a different cookie from burkey when it comes to building a team.

Personally Im not a fan of Bernier. Think he's more hype then quality.

I don't see LA risking Quick, especially in a shortened season. I think Bernier stays and plays.

Honestly I agree with another poster at another site....

I would rather go Reimer/Scrivens. If we bomb this season we win because of a good chance at MacKinnon/Jones. If we win then, hey! We are in the playoffs. No prospects/picks should be traded this season. Lets not make the same mistakes JFJ made.

Indeed this team needs to suck to get better. As long as ive been a follower of hockey(60s) this team has never really stuck to a plan of building for the future/become a consistant winner .
Its time to change!

As I said earlier Ive never been impressed myself but we've only really seen such a small sample size. Its really hard to determine.
