Maybe he blew his load prematurely?

Maybe he just needs to take a break or a nap before he starts posting again.

    A statement from Big Ev:

Ottawa, ON -- Today it was announced that Big Ev is retiring from the Dobber Hockey Forums for the foreseeable future. Big Ev has lost his will to post and wishes to devote more time to other things in his life. Also, while he still plays fantasy hockey, Big Ev's passion in the game has declined and he simply wishes to watch some NHL hockey and gain it back. He would also like to rid himself of his username and the stigma attached to it.

While Big Ev is now retired, he would like it to be known that a future Brett Favre move is not out of the question. This may occur when he will be looking to collect $20 from Mr. Mcgoo after Jakob Silfverberg plays in all 48 games this season (unless he is injured or sick), or maybe when the Sens are in the Cup Final.

Big Ev wishes to thank all the kind individuals in this thread for the congratulations. Keep the Dobber community going strong, folks. Stay gold.

    Congrats on the milestone.

Not sure I understand the stigma, but when I see the name it intrigues me to read your thoughts as there have been many excellent posts.

Congrats Evan. You jerk you told me to take Dougie Hamilton in my prospect draft last year and now you're calling him Jay Bouwmeester?!

    Cheers.

    Awesome job, Evan!

Even if you are retiring from the forum, you certainly made your mark here.

    Best wishes.

Quitter. See you at the Sens game. I'll be the guy cheering for the other team (wearing my Oilers Dynasty T-shirt)...unless it's Toronto, cause they have enough fans in Ottawa.
