Default Which "tyout" on toplines will be the most likely to stick/succeed? (Sleepers)

After having read the first few line combos from training camps, I realised that there are some guys who are getting a great opportunity on their teams top lines. Which one has the best chance to stick? Why do you think so? You could also rank the guys - thanks!

    ANA: Palmieri (with Getzlaf, Perry)
    CAR: Tlusty (with E.Staal, Semin)
DET: Brunner (with Zetterberg, Datsyuk - I guess he'll be the favourite for most of you, because of the chemistry with Zetts)
    NJ: Clarkson (with Zajac, Kovy)
    NYI: Okposo (with Tavares, Moulson)
    PHI: B.Schenn (with Giroux, Hartnell)
    PIT: Tangradi (with Malkin, Neal)

In my opinion, the most likely to stick will be Okposo. My dark horse to stick is probably Tangradi. I want to see Palmeiri stick, and I know the Ducks are high on him and his scoring ability, I just dont know if he will or not.

If Malone can keep up he should stick , as well I think Johansson will hold his own , young & fast , good hockey sense.

tlusty and staal played most of last year together on the same line.
this is nothing new, though semin adds another dimension to the line and they may score more than last year when they had a pretty pitifull array of rw to play with.

I'd say Okposo has a great chance of sticking. Tangradi if he doesn't muck it up could stick too. Hell I think I could lace em up next to Malkin and Neal and pick up some points. I wouldn't get too attached to Malone on that top line. He always gets considered but then gets hurt or gets usurped by Tango Ted Purcell. That and I'm not sure how well he can keep up with Stamkos and St Louis at the end of the day.

Brunner - Would obviously be the easy way out as you've already said. It must be said: Detroit has capable players that they could put in his place if he falters.

Johansson - He has had some good chemistry with Ovechkin when Backstrom was out before. Knuble is now gone from the 1st line and WSH doesn't have too many other options IMO.

Schenn - His competition is Voracek and Matt Read. His performance in the playoffs was exceptional and his stock will rise SIGNIFICANTLY this season. It's just my opinion but I think that he will stick, he's just too good not to.

Clarkson - Who else will play there?

    Okposo -

    Tlusty-

Well Tangradi has already been knocked off the Malkin/Neal line at camp. Beau Bennett is the new guy taking a chance on that line.

Red Wings had a scrimmage today with there AHL affiliate (Rosters were all mixed up though) and Brunner was one of the best players for either side playing mainly with Nyquist and Zetterberg.

I agree with Okposo too. Ended the year there and had hot finish.

What about Hagelin in NYR? Anyone confirm maybe him w/ Richards/Nash?

Or, how about Atkinson in CLB?

Okposo and Tlusty seem like shoo-ins to me. The trio with Malone is very realistic and it seems like Brunner will have good opportunity with the new captain being a fan of his skills.

Clarkson also has a good chance. I think DeBoer really likes him, wants to use him, and he scored 30 goal last year with good PP time to back it up.

I have hope that Palmeri will play with the big boys, it would spread out the talent and it's the same reason Schenn will be on the 2nd line. Schenn will do well regardless.

The only two I picture walking away from this with little more than an experience are Tangradi and Johansson.

    Overall I rank them

Not "knocked off". They are simply samomg with both I'm that line. Tangradi played the first two practices there and Bennett tonight. Had nothing to do with performer but with giving both a look to see if there was quick chemistry.
