IR Yahoo leagues.
Does anyone know when Yahoo will assign IR to players? I have Kesler and would like to get a jump on a FA pick up. I would assume it would be on Jan 19th when the season officially begins, or possibly when Vancouver assigns his IR status.

Yup I think that's right - Laich comes to mind for one who might not get on IR at all.
i think the shortened season may amplify some flaws that may force my league to sit down and make some changes we have just been giving lip service to for a few years now
I saw a manager put pronger on IR yesterday so it must be there now for some players.

Must be just Philly so far as only Pronger and Bourdon are on Yahoo IR. (Players > Injury Reports)
its kind of weird if you go to the NHL Roster Changes and select Injured Reserve there is nothing there in terms of changes
but if you go to Injury Reports you fins Marc-Andre Bourdon and Chris Pronger both listed as on IR with a start date of yesterday
so who knows
I know that on TSN they have an injury report, but you'd think that each major league sport would have an easy to access, updated report to keep IR listings.
