Would you move Galchenyuk?

I am considering it in the league in my signature. Someone just put Henrik Sedin on the trade block. Thinking Galchenyuk could be a good trade chip. The team is a rebuilding team that I would be making the offer to.

Another team has Lucic and I know the guy is interested in Galchenyuk as well, but Henrik is starting to feel more attractive in this case.

I want to win this season as I feel my team is likely the top or close to the top right now in terms of projections for this league.

I'd move Galchenyuk for Sedin, especially if it could be done straight up. I wouldn't add too much towards my offer, but I would definitely make a good push with Galchenyuk as the key piece.

As for Lucic, if it could be a straight up swap I'd be down for it, otherwise it would have to be a small piece along with Galchenyuk, and nothing more. You tell the owner of Lucic if he really wants Galchenyuk that's the price he'll have to pony up, and if he doesn't like it, you're more than happy to keep Galchenyuk.

That's a no-brainer but it all depends on what else the owner might want. If you are lucky (or good) you can sell him on a straight up trade. That would be a coup.

I'd open with that and see where things go.

So I made an initial offer and after a few more offers, he accepted the following:

Galchenyuk, Coyle, Grabner, Quincey for Sedin, Franzen, Coburn

you were already sick across the offensive categories for a 16 team league with what you had prior to the trade

post trade you should likely win 7-9 of them most weeks i would think

depending on how many points you need to win this league you could probably trade all of your goalies to improve your defensemen and slightly upgrade an offensive player or two and you could probably still win the league

Coyle - unproven
Grabner - one decent season/not better than Franzen
Quincey - essentially Coburn

So the price works out to about Galchenyuk and Coyle for Sedin which is a price I'd be willing to pay more often than not.
