Default Brian Elliott or Jarsolav Halak?

Hey guys, get to protect one goalie, who will be my #1.

    Stats W, GAA, SV%, SHO.

With that in mind, I protect Halak right? Or is Elliott the real deal?

You have to go Halak here. I'd personally stay away from both due to the timeshare, but if you own both and have to pick one, Halak is the choice.

Jarsolav Halak. He is the number one goalie, Elliot is just a back up.

I wouldn't even give this a second thought lol....it's not even like we have to worry about Halak's groin anymore because he's had like 113 days to rest it.

Not an enviable position but yes, Halak is the best bet. No guarantees of course.

I have the exact same problem in my semi keeper (roster in sig), and I'm running with Halak too. I'm praying Elliott is still available when I draft, but I have a feeling he won't be.

Many will look at my roster and argue I should keep Kessel instead, but with #1 goalies being so scarce in our league, and their stats being so important, I absolutely cannot afford to risk losing out on a good goaltender for the sake of a guy like Kessel that may score more goals than some of his peers at his position. (Besides, offensively I'm already STACKED. So stacked it's scary.)

Halak is a very easy choice over Elliott. Unless you have a crystal ball telling you Halak is going down due to injury, there isn't any reason to not go with Halak.

    flip a coin, a 3-sided one actually

one or the other could easily steal the job, or they could tandem again like last year...I can't imagine the coaching staff would have any problem with a tandem if they play like they did last season
