Lots of people are trying to buy low on Yakupov, I'm sure. I've already seen it myself.

Yeah, boy did he surprise this tourney (me anyway). Sorry I passed on him in the WJ pool.

All you guys and your hate for my Flames picks. Gaudreau is at least a few years away.. do I think he will make the NHL? He most certailny has the skill set. A future line and I do mean future line of Baertschi - Jankowski - Gaudreau would be sick with Granlund - Horak - player X on line 2 followed by Sielof/wotherspoon and Brodie on D.. with Broissoit/Ramo/Gilles on net. Wow the cupboards arn't so bare after all... Go Flames GO

Couldn't agree more. It's not like this kid just started scoring - he's been a consistent producer all through his recorded history.

If I were to own Gibson, I would without doubt try to sell him off to the highest bidder.

I think you're thinking of Girgensons.

Now is an awesome time to buy low on him. Criticized the entire time and yet still tied for team lead in points. I think he "looked" not very good, and a bit selfish, but it's such a small sample size and at the end of the day he still produced, though not at perhaps the level people expected.

There might not be a better time to try and go out and trade for Yakupov because once he starts lining up alongside legitimate talent it will be too late.

I think you are right, Doulos. But, I think it would take a pretty soft GM to loosen the grip. In my leagues, he is overvalued in my eyes.

Sven Andrighetto might be a good one to pick up... Good scorer and if you have deep prospect pools it is always good to have a couple of lottery tickets in there. He has already been passed on in the draft (though he might be drafted this time around) so he should be available for pick up. I already have (dropping Troy Bourke).
I didn't see much of the tourney... How did he look qualitatively?

Yeah the theoretical and the actual are often quite different. An excellent point.
