In the same mood as my last thread...

If you would have to choose, is the best bet for making the NHL?

    Sven Andrighetto

    or

    J.C. Lipon
SWHL STHS Keeper - 24 teams

    Roster : 4C, 4LW, 4RW, 6D, 2G
    Stats : G, A = mainly.
Hits, PK time, GV, TK = minor stats

C : Crosby, Thornton, Grabovski, Sobotka
LW : Vanek, Read, Morrow, Hansen
RW : Stastny, Clowe, Kulemin, A.Kost
D : Markov, Green, Letang, Spurgeon, Eminger, Sulzer
    G : Lundqvist, Ellis

FARM : Chipchura, Cormier, Loktionov, Brennan, Larsne, Bonino, Gaunce...

PROSPECTS : Granlund, Trouba, Armia, Atkinson, Phillips, Hishon...

Without knowing any better I would take my chances with Lipon as a more known commodity.

I think Lipon could make the NHL as a 3rd & 4th liner. As Andrighetto is more of a top6 or bust type of player.

Not as familiar with Lipon, but if the above is true, I'd go for top 6 upside. It's not like these guys are blue-chip prospects. I do like the leadership role that 'ghetto had for Switzerland and does have with his Jr team. That's a nice trait to find in sleeper prospects. His scoring has been solid:

I'll take Andrighetto. Not sure either of these players make it to the NHL, but if I had to pick one I prefer Andrighetto.
