Backstrom has missed all three Dynamo games played after the December 26 game in which he was injured. Immediately after that game, Dynamo had claimed that the injury wasn't serious and that Backstrom would play in the next game. http://translate.googleusercontent.c...e7Wa4NIHvi3EaQ

Backstrom's agent has said that his client is "day to day, maybe week to week", whatever that means . . . .

All reports I've seen have said that he has a "neck injury".

When Justin Williams can be day-to-day with a shattered leg according to the LA Kings, its really not fair to say that lying about injuries is a KHL thing.

I was referring more about the fact that they zero vested interest in his long term future. "Hey nicky, you are good to go, get out there and play!"

Thats what scares me.
