The buzz in Vancouver is Bozak, maybe Frattin, plus a pick. Canucks need depth down the middle with Kesler's injury issues, so Bozak makes sense.

I wonder if Reimer could be included - making Scrivens Luongo's backup. But who knows, really...

Wins only, probably not, though he'd likely get a ton of starts. Throw in other stats being tracked and he would be a likely Tier 2 goalie for me and wouldn't shock me if he was still one of the best in the league in terms of his overall stats at the end of a season. He's talented, even if his "between the ears" stat might struggle a bit at key times.

I'll say one thing though - If Luongo comes to toronto they re a playoff team.
His presence alone gives them a handful of wins. I can't imagine the confidence it would give the team.

He will still be outside the top 10 as the guy asked. Vancouver is a better spot for him to put up good stats. Toronto just isn't a team at that level and that will have an impact on any goaltender.

He would make the Leafs better, that I have no doubt.

I did say Brian Burke is pretty adament abt not doing these type of contracts.
Based on that yes i didnt see it happening. But i believe i also said that if it did somehow happen(burke changes mind) they wouldnt be giving up alot.

Haha... I gotta admit, I was really looking forward to Luongo going there and reminding you. Thing is, who knows if Luongo wants to go (or if it's even true that there's a potential deal there). Still... was looking forward to it.

You definitely did soften your opinion over the term of the debate, but at the beginning it was definitive "not a chance in hell".
