I cant understand why Steve Spott is so set on forcing Subban into the #1 role. Its obvious that Binnington looked better, not only in the pre-tourney game he played but also in the selection camp leading up to the tourney. Subban is a good goalie, but not the best one on Team Canada right now.
If Subban is the "hill they are going to die on" in nets, I am not feeling too confident for Canada when they start playing teams with a higher skill set.

Looked a little shaky but nothing too bad.
He wasnt horrible but the majority of the saves were routine saves. He made a couple nice saves in the third period but all in all, the chances he had to make a key save went in. He really wasnt tested. That could have been the issue as well.Originally Posted by DerekReese

Didn't see the 2nd and 3rd goals for Germany, but Subban had no chance on the 1st one.
