Default Who are my Top 4 D?

I lost a lot of D depth over the summer for a variety of reasons and debating who should start in my top 4.

    I'm left with

    Goligoski
    Myers
    Josi
    Voynov
    Hamhuis

    FAs available

    Spurgeon
    Giordano

I'm also thinking of maybe making a move for a Stud D...

    Thanks!!

I am assuming this is for the league in your sig. I am also assuming it isnt a salary cap type of league as you dont mention that.

Personally, if it was me I would be picking up Giordano in a hearbeat. I would easily drop Hamhuis for him and he would be one of your top 4 D instantly.

Your top 4 D at that point for me would be:

    Goli
    Gio
    Myers
    Josi
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League

25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
    Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt

Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, Brink

    G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

I think I'd roll with these guys. Buy Voynov could be swapped for Myers or Giordano.

Good group here but needs some work for sure. Giordano is a KEEPER here not FA. He and Goli will be your top 2 Dman for points.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.

I lost Lidstrom, Yandle, Visnovsky & Fowler since last spring so definitely time for some retooling.

Wow Giordano is getting some love.
    Thanks for the replies guys-

There are no real Flames fans in my league so that probably plays into Giordano slipping through the cracks.

So pretty unanimous with Giordano over Hamhuis?

anyone think Wideman will steal some of Giordano's offensive minutes?

Both Hamhuis and Spurgeon were borderline contributors last year, but now they have even more to contend with.

Goligoski is the only #1D on his team on PP units.
The other guys are all 2nd/3rd options.
While we all like Giordano, the CGY PP is going to run through Wideman now.
I think Gio will take a hit in points-only production (though he'll remain great in multi-cat).

Voynov & Josi are wild-cards. I think they'll both do well, but I feel like Voynov will shine this year while Josi may need two years to excel into a PP role.

I'll second that. Very high on Voynov for his next outing...do not see a dip in production here.

I second this! Spurgeon is definitely not worth picking up. Hamhuis has more competition for points this year, as well.
Josi could fit in below Voynov, especially this year. Giordano may be 4th on this list, I assume Wideman will get a lot of the PP time.
